Siting in, a field. Waiting for, the moon. To rise. While sheep, gently grazing. Cautiously, keep watch. Over me, and the cats. As a hawk, made. Of clouds, soars silently. Above. Lifting, my heart. To dance. Amidst, the stratosphere. On fire.

    On seeing the same moon, just some hours before, sitting back upon a timber floor, as it broke dappled through the tops each, an African Tulip and a Silky Oak. To then gaze later, upon parting company, the moon between conifers, till kissing the plain to the west, the beauty of a night now past, between the range’s trees.
