take my hand and climb with me…

one hundred and sixteen degrees: ‘stronger than bombs…’

Oxygen ~ Willy Mason

one hundred and sixteen

World, within a world.  Fibre flower, tiny mandala. Gently, held. The kind, cup. Of an, acorn. Funny how, the smallest. Things, hold the greatest. Significance. Powerfully, sustain. Profound, promises. Of life. Or happiness. Mundane magic, every day. So rich, so vital. Infinitesimal. Like atoms, of oxygen.

Proud of a life where to give means more than to take…

Thank you! A beautiful song too, one who’s sentiment I deeply resonate with… if you click on the word Oxygen in blue, you can watch the music video 🙂

  2. Nice pic. Like the song too. I think being stripped of everything – trough difficulties – allows an opportunity for people to become real. This is what I’m seeing more of. Three cheers for difficult times!

Thanks John… and I whole heartedly agree. I think we are tempered by our challenges: scoured out by sorrow, humbled by pain. Through the illusion of failure, we’re bestowed rich blessing that allow us to see more clearly what is of real worth. It is these troughs that increase our innate capacity for joy, find meaning, celebrate magic and seek the truth. In this respect, having a stroke at 27 was the best thing could’ve happened to me. Here’s to recognizing the opportunity in difficulty and embracing the possibilities it creates. Love, respect and solidarity, Bx

      • Perfectly put 🙂

“Do not assume that he who seeks to comfort you now, lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life may also have much sadness and difficulty, that remains far beyond yours. Were it otherwise, he would never have been able to find these words.”
        ― Rainer Maria Rilke

LOVE Rilke, John – thank you for the share. This quote adds an extra element of loveliness and depth… and a great remember to allow ourselves to be open to one another’s truth, vulnerability and art. Lots of heartfelt love, kindness and compassion from the Overberg, Bx
